There’s a lot that goes into building an interactive webpage. I’m investing some money in Thinkful and Treehouse in order to learn all the skills I need to be a great web developer. However, if you just want to learn HTML and CSS in order to build basic webpages, do more with WordPress, or maybe just make e-mails fancier, HTML and CSS can be easily learned for free.
My suggestion is to head on over to Codecademy and complete their HTML & CSS track. Then, for more in-depth knowledge, read over Shay Howe’s Learn to Code HTML & CSS guide. This will give you good practice combined with a solid knowledge foundation.
